BIRTHDAY GIRL......MAMMA MIA....

Hunter turned 13!!!
So for her birthday I took her to MAMMA MIA.. It was a surprise and was she surprised.



We went to dinner at PF CHANGS not her fav but it was close to everyone that went. There were 15 of us girls. Our waiter was so sweet he sang to her and brought out this awesome chocolate dessert.
The play was fantastic and we enjoyed it so much. The finale was my favorite part. As for Hunter she was happy to see it and enjoyed the whole thing.

A HONOR STUDENT

Hunter has worked very hard and has a goal to make honor roll every quarter.

She has done this since 4th grade.
This year she was inducted into NJHS. (National Junior Honors Society)

It was so wonderful to see her achieve her goal.

This is not easy for her and yet she strives and works hard at her studies.

She has proven that even with a processing disorder it is possible to achieve and over come your disability.

Keep up the GREAT work..

WART on a FOOT

This is Skylers's foot after trying to get that dang WART to go away.

He had it Froze and as you will see it did not work!

He hates needles and so this was the last resort for him.

It had to be removed and it was huge. Compared to when it first came up like a pen tip.

Now it is the size of a nickel.

As the doctor was trying to numb it, he stuck the needle into the wart and it spit the fluid right back at him. SO gross. Glad he is a friend and was cool with it. Poor Skyler I thought for sure he was going to lose it. He did so good.

This is where he was burning it out or cauterizing it so it would not bleed all over the place.

This had to have been the sickest grossest smell ever. It is burning flesh... HORRID

This is his foot after all the scraping and digging and burning are done.

After several months, his foot is healed with no more hole in it. Amazing how our bodies just heal and close up.

Now I just hope he never gets another one of those gross planters warts again.

MOM'S

Girlfriends are the best!!!!

We took this picture on Sunday at church.. They were all excited to talk with their missionary sons. I was excited that I have 3 more years to enjoy or go crazy with my son before he leaves on his mission.

It was a great Mothers Day as I received flowers from Kim and her family and a sweet card from Jewel and her family. Tom made breakfast and dinner and they gave me a great relaxing day. With some bonus gifts that every mom loves.

So grateful for my family love them all!!!!!

THANKSGIVING

This is a time to be grateful for so many things.

I am grateful for having my parents, as their health starts to fail, I realize how short my time is with them. So I cherish every moment pleasant or not. I am grateful that my children still have grandparents who love them and love them they do!

I am thankful for a loving husband and 4 great kids and 5 adorable grand kids.

There are so many things that I could name, however I will just say I am thankful and grateful for friends, family, the gospel and everything in my life.

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and now on to a wonderful Christmas!

Hunters Accomplishments

Battle of the Books

Hunter, Julia and Shelby won their last battle to become BACK TO BACK champions!!
They were the first class to achieve this honor.
So by winning for their school they were able to go to district. (Last year they missed advancing at District by 2 points). This year they scored a perfect score and the top 4 teams transferred to the Regional Battle. Their were 4 perfect teams this year.

Now it s off to District for these girls. Thanks Mrs. K for all your help with the battle.
These girls have worked hard & long going over questions and facts from 12 books.
I am amazed at how well they work together and remember all the details from each book. They did a great job.
